"Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Johnson is being treated for melanoma skin cancer in his spine, the team announced today.
Johnson, who complained of back pain during the playoffs and was forced to coach from the press box, has a bone tumor in his lower back.
The team has said that Johnson intends to continue coaching next season. "
