Dolphins' Channing Crowder questionable for Sunday

" Coming off ''limited'' practice Thursday, Dolphins middle linebacker Channing Crowder's Friday practice was too limited to be called ''limited'' -- standing off to the side in his jersey and sweatpants.
Crowder, who calls defensive signals for the Dolphins and wears the helmet allowing for radio communication with defensive coordinator Paul Pasqualoni, was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report (knee). Should Crowder miss a game for the first time this season, Akin Ayodele would don the radio helmet and assume the position with Reggie Torbor taking Ayodele's spot.
Torbor has been limited mostly to special teams after coming as a free agent from the Super Bowl champion Giants.
In New York last season, an injury to starter Mathias Kiwanuka made Torbor a starter for the last six regular-season games and four playoff games.
''In the preseason, I thought Reggie was one of the most active guys that we had out there, I really did, because he was playing an awful lot of plays out there in the preseason trying to learn this position,'' Dolphins coach Tony Sparano said.
``I think he's gotten better and better. He hasn't had the opportunity to go out there in game situations and really do this for a long period of time and this is an opportunity.''"
