Potential No. 1 pick Aaron Curry will visit Lions

"The Lions will meet with a third candidate for No. 1 overall draft pick Sunday when Wake Forest linebacker Aaron Curry visits the team's headquarters in Allen Park.
Curry's agent, Andy Ross, confirmed the visit Thursday.
The Lions also brought in Georgia quarterback Matt Stafford and Baylor offensive tackle Jason Smith this week. The visits don't include on-field workouts, per NFL rules, but generally include dinner and film sessions with coaches and medical checkups.
Only two linebackers (Tom Cousineau and Aundray Bruce) have gone No. 1 overall in the NFL draft since 1967, but it's a serious need for the Lions
