QB Matt Stafford, Georgia (JR) The Lions need a franchise QB to build around. Stafford has a cannon for an arm and would be able to deliver the ball to WR Calvin Johnson from anywhere on the field.
OT, Jason Smith, Baylor Smith is a super talented offensive lineman and can move in and start right away at left tackle. He has the best feet of all the O-linemen in this draft.
LB, Aaron Curry, Wake Forest They need a pass rushing defensive end and a right tackle, but Curry is the best value here by far and he fills a huge need. Winner of the 2008 Butkis Award.
WR, Michael Crabtree, Texas Tech (Soph)
Measured a little short at the Combine at 6' 1 3/8" but he is still a supreme talent and the Seahawks need a big time receiver.
WR, Jeremy Maclin, Missouri (soph) Maclin (6' 1" 200) will likely rise after the NFL Combine where he ran a 4.40 forty. WR Braylon Edwards need some help and Maclin is a good value here.
DE/OLB, Brian Orakpo, Texas A pass rushing specialist (6' 4" 258 lbs.) Orakpo won the 2008 Bronco Nagurski Award and gives the Bengals a dominate defense player.
DT, B. J. Raji, Boston College Raji is a monster at 6' 1" 330 pounds. He gets a great push on the inside and in 2008 he recorded 11 tackles for loss (TFLs) and 6.5 sacks.
OT, Eugene Monroe, Virginia Monroe (6' 5" 315 lbs) has great feet, but doesn't stay on his blocks as long as Jason Smith. He has immense talent though and is very coachable.
DE/OLB, Everett Brown, Florida State (JR) The Packers new D-Coordinator Don Capers will be switching to the 3-4 defense. Brown (6' 4" 257 lbs) recorded 12.5 sacks and 20.5 tackles for loss for 2008.

RB, Knowshon Moreno, Georgia (Soph) They need defense, but Moreno is to good to pass up. Moreno (5' 11" 212 lbs) is a draft eligible sophomore and one of the the best running backs in the nation.
LB, James
Laurinaitis,Ohio State Laurinaitis won the Butkus Award in 2007 and could have been a top ten pick if he would have entered the 2008 NFL Draft.

QB Mark Sanchez, USC (JR) A powerful, accurate arm with a long wind-up delivery. Brett Favre's retirement leaves the Jets thin at QB. Kellen Clemens will have some serious competition at camp.
CB, Vontae Davis, Illinois (JR) They could really use a receiver but there isn't one worthy of this high of a pick. Davis is the younger brother of 49er TE Vernon Davis. He has as much talent as any DB in the nation.
RB, Chris (Beenie) Wells, Ohio State (JR) Wells (6' 1" 225 lbs) has all the talent in the world. RB Cadillac Williams looks like another injury away from a bust.
OT, Andre Smith, Alabama (JR) From Dallas Cowboys: Smith disappeared at the combine and did not interview well. He reminds me of the Cowboy's offensive right guard Leonard Davis.
LB, Brian Cushing, USC Cushing led the top ranked Trojan defense with 10 tackles for loss (TFLs), 2.5 sacks and 6 pass break ups. He gives the Eagles a powerful defensive presence.
WR, Darrius Heyward-Bey, Maryland (JR) Bey hasn't put up huge receiving numbers, but he will be hot property due to his size (6' 3" 206 lbs) and elite speed. He ran a blazing 4.30 at the scouting combine.
OLB, Aaron Maybin, Penn State (Soph) Maybin (6' 4" 240 lbs), an eligible sophomore, is an ultra quick sack master. In 2008 he recorded 12 sacks and 20 tackles for loss (TFLs).
DT, Peria Jerry, Ole Miss Jerry (6' 3" 313 lbs) is a stud. After getting surgery in week one, he only missed one full game and has played great all year recording 17 TFLs and 6 sacks.
OLB, Larry English, Northern Illinois English has been one of the most productive pass rushers in the nation. He has recorded 29 sacks in his career and has nice size (6' 2" 254 lbs).

C, Alex Mack, California Plug him (Mack) into the interior of your line and you will have a pro bowler for years to come. Jeff Saturday is all but gone via free agency.
TE Jared Cook, South Carolina (JR) From Panthers: Cook (6' 5" 244 lbs) needs to work on his blocking, but was the fastest tight end at the combine running a 4.50 forty.
DE, Michael Johnson, Georgia Tech Almost entered the 2008 NFL Draft where he was graded as a 3rd rounder. At 6' 7" 265 pounds, very athletic but hasn't lived up to potential.
