Sheriff's departments investigating multiple incidents.

MOUNT PLEASANT -- Motorists along Iowa Highway 78 by Noble Road near the Wayland area may have noticed more than the roadways this past week. A flasher may have caught their attention.
Sheriff's offices in Henry and Washington counties have received reports about a man flashing motorists on the highway. Authorities have not released a description of the man or the kind of vehicle he is driving.
Henry County Sheriff Allen Wittmer said they are talking with prosecutors about "what avenue we'd have to go with," as far as the case is concerned. But he believes their suspect is the same man Washington County authorities are looking for.
The man allegedly passes a vehicle, then pulls off on the side of road. As the second car passes him, the man exposes himself, said Washington County Sheriff's Department Chief Deputy Darren Dennler. Dennler said a woman complainant told deputies she was traveling north on Redwood Avenue, just north of Wayland, when the incident occurred.
Authorities would not say whether they have a suspect in mind, citing an open investigation. They are asking anyone who may have seen the flasher to call the Henry County Sheriff's Office at (319) 385-2712.
If the man is caught, he more than likely will be charged with indecent exposure, a serious misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in jail.
