"Bring on the Arizona Cardinals.
The Carolina Panthers will host Kurt Warner and the Cardinals Saturday night at 8:15 p.m. in the NFC divisional playoffs at Bank of America Stadium.
The Cardinals (10-7), the No. 4 seed, advanced to the divisional playoffs with a 30-24 win over the Atlanta Falcons on Saturday. The Panthers would have played the Minnesota Vikings, but they lost 24-14 to sixth-seeded Philadelphia on Sunday.
The Eagles will face the New York Giants in the other NFC Divisional Playoff game.
The winners will advance to the NFC Championship game the following weekend.
The Panthers are 5-0 since 2003 against the Cardinals, including a 27-23 win on Oct. 26 at Bank of America Stadium.
In that game the Panthers rallied from a 17-3 second half deficit behind a 21-point third quarter.
Steve Smith had a huge game for the Panthers with five receptions for 117 yards and two touchdowns, while DeAngelo Williams added 108 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
Warner will be a test for a Carolina secondary which allowed Drew Brees to throw for 386 yards and three touchdowns in Week 17.
The Cardinals finished the season ranked fourth in total offense and second in passing. In October, Warner threw for 381 yards and two touchdowns against the Panthers, both of those to Pro Bowl receiver Anquan Boldin. However, it was Warner's one mistake that cost the Cardinals as Jon Beason came up with a late interception to seal the win."
