"Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth was wearing a brace on sprained left knee and said he will likely have to wear it for the rest of the season.
“It makes me feel better, so I like it. It gives me support and stability until I can support myself,” Haynesworth said.
Haynesworth also pronounced himself ready to play in next Saturday’s divisional playoff game against Baltimore, San Diego or Indianapolis. A reporter asked after Friday’s practice if Haynesworth would play and he responded, “What did you think with me getting off the ball like I did today? There’s your answer.”
Haynesworth, who did not practice Friday, sounded much more optimistic about his ability to play than he did on Wednesday. Since that time, he has done some running on the side and worked extra with Atlanta chiropractor Michael Hatrak in addition to the Titans trainers.
“I got some work with my guy on the side and it’s really helped, and we’re doing great stuff in the training room. This extra work we’ve done on the side has really helped, too,” Haynesworth said."
