Orlovsky will start in finale

"Each week offers a new lowlight, seemingly and, in Sunday's 42-7 loss to the Saints, it might have been this: As quarterback Dan Orlovsky tried in vain to call a timeout, the Lions were flagged for a penalty even before they'd snapped the ball on the first play from scrimmage of the second half.
The Lions were penalized for an illegal substitution after breaking the huddle with 12 players on the field.
"It shouldn't happen," Marinelli said.
But it did, and it was just a microcosm of the Lions' struggles on offense this season, with a revolving door at quarterback -- Sunday's game was the seventh in which two quarterbacks played for the Lions -- and a receiving corps that consists largely of midseason roster additions.
Orlovsky, battling flu-like symptoms, had his worst outing in six starts, finishing 10-of-23 for 125 yards with two interceptions.
Drew Stanton relieved him in the fourth quarter.
Marinelli said afterward that Orlovsky will start at Green Bay, adding that Daunte Culpepper (shoulder) won't be available.
"Awful, embarrassing, we stunk," Orlovsky said, offering his postgame assessment Sunday. "Any bad adjective you can use -- throw it in there. ...
"We played decent football on offense for the first 10 plays and then after that it was embarrassing."
