Porter out with groin injury

"The Jaguars officially ruled out receiver Jerry Porter for Sunday's game due to the groin injury he suffered last week at Chicago.
Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio said earlier in the week that Porter could be a candidate for injured reserve.
"We have to determine whether that's going to end up being something that will keep him out the last couple of games or whether he'll be able to play," Del Rio said.
Sidelined for the entire week of practice including Friday, Porter will miss his fourth game this season. Porter missed the first three games recovering from a July surgery on his hamstring.
Porter is ninth on the team in receptions (11) for 181 yards a touchdown.
Bigger role for Lewis
With Matt Jones serving a three-game suspension, tight end Marcedes Lewis figures to play a more significant role in the Jaguars' offense over the final three games.
Partially due to defenses devoting safeties to run support, Lewis has become one of quarterback David Garrard's favorite targets in the seams.
But Lewis has also dropped his fair share of passes. Lewis is tied for 12th in the league in dropped passes (6) and seventh in the AFC. By comparison, Jones is tied for 13th in the AFC with five drops this season.
"It's a product of trying to run before I catch the ball. But the last couple of games, I've just really been focused on just catching the ball first. The big play will come," Lewis said. "As a receiver, when you're dropping passes it's not always a matter of you having bad hands. Sometimes you're just trying to make a play before you catch the ball. So you've got to crawl before you walk. [Lakers guard] Kobe [Bryant] doesn't make every shot. It's just a part of being a player."
Generous Jags
Defensive end Reggie Hayward strolled down the hall holding a couple of $50 bills and receiver Reggie Williams sat on a stool at his locker stuffing money into stacks of envelopes piled in his lap.
Sitting at a table nearby, kicker Josh Scobee organized money-filled envelopes, and quarterback Cleo Lemon walked past minutes later, slipping an envelope into the back pocket of one of the Jaguars interns.
With Christmas just around the corner, the majority of the players participated in the team's annual tradition of thanking various members of the support staff (athletic trainers, equipment and video, community relations and various others) for their work by giving them envelopes containing various amounts of cash.
According to one staffer, head athletic trainer Mike Ryan usually receives the largest share of envelopes."
