Bench KALIL.....now!!!!

Before you all start telling me to take a deep breath and don't over react to the Falcons loss, please read my post entitled "Panthers are 8-3 !!!!". Believe me....I get it. We're gonna be ok.

That said, Bench Kalil. Regardless of yesterdays outcome, I would be trumpeting the bench Kalil movement today. Funny how we only false start when Kalil is in the game. Has anyone else noticed that wicked twitch he gives BEFORE he snaps the ball. No wonder people jump. He can't run silent count....he can't run shotgun (at least not well).....he is NOT ready for prime time. Not yet.

Hangartner does an outstanding job at center and we have waaaaay fewer false starts with him in there. Not to mention, in my opinion, he is a better blocker than Kalil. I'm not saying that Kalil is a bust. He's not. He may be a good center some day. This is not the year to learn the position. Wait until there is an injury or the season is lost. Let him gain experience that way. That's the way Piggy did it. For now, let him be depth at center or guard. He is just not ready.

Argue with me if you want. Tell me that he is the starter therefore he MUST be the better player (JayJ1....looking vaguely in your general direction.....LOL). But at least keep my comment in mind as we move forward. Watch Kalils technique. Count the yellow hankies. Notice that they come at really bad times. Hopefully you will all say I'm wrong....and that's a good thing. That would mean that Kalil has turned the corner and improved his game. :scratch:

I agree and we were talking about it yesterday. I think if he has the whole off-season to work with Jake assuming he is the QB next year, then I think that will help them build a chemistry. He will be a good backup and should be benched for at least the rest of the year. He could learn a lot from that.

That was one of the biggest issues I had with this game. Hangartner solidifies the o-line. It's stronger and the chemistry is better, probably due to kalil having been out. The line-up works better without kalil right now and that is absolutely the direction you want to go in. It's a team game,Kalil has to suck it up and due what's best.(Not suggesting it's his decision.)

Strange how Kalil is even starting considering Fox's loyalty to vets.

Good point jschnars. Might be due to Richardsons's (or Hurneys) loyalty to the higher draft pick. I swear I think that there must be a bonus clause in someones contract that rewards them if their draft picks are "successful"......or something.
